Moldy Oldies

Treehouse
Shopping for vinyl is an almost every weekend adventure in my household. Brian is a huge fan of records and I like to come along for the ride. There is something about the smell of old records, same with the smell of old books, that is comforting. I also draw a lot of inspiration from album cover art, especially the typography. It is neat to sift through the different decades of art work.
The above photos are from our local record shop Treehouse, in Uptown, Minneapolis. (Note the Rodriquez poster on the wall, I get to go see him in Chicago next weekend!). Where is your favorite place to search for vinyl?

Side note: Here is one of the best/funniest album covers I have found in quite some time, the German singer, Heino. He lives in a frame on our living room wall. Enjoy!
